AC/DC legend Angus back on Highway to Hell
For those about to rock, prepare to be truly shocked - AC/DC guitar legend Angus Young isn't quite as spry as he once was and his days of impersonating a cheeky schoolboy are definitely behind him.
But the wrinkly rocker still has more than enough get-up-and-go to flash his famous devil's horns as he picked up a Legend gong at last night's Kerrang! awards in London.
The Glasgow-born musician, responsible for iconic riffs on tracks like Highway To Hell, Let There Be Rock and Whole Lotta Rosie received a standing ovation from the crowd, including soft rock star Meat Loaf.
The 51-year-old, who was raised in Cranhill, found global stardom with brother Malcolm after they moved to Australia and formed the band, which has sold 150million albums.
Younger rockers were also honoured with the Lostprophets winning Best Band and Best Album, Muse taking Best Live Band and My Chemical Romance Best Band on the Planet.
