Sunday 28th April 2002

The third series of the UK Television programme "Auf Wiedersehen, Pet" started at 9pm on Sunday 28th April 2002. In the show the character Oz played by "Jimmy Nail" appeared in a few scenes wearing an AC/DC T-shirt.
Jimmy has also been pictured in various promotional pictures for the show wearing an AC/DC T-shirt.

The current issue of the "Radio Times" features a promotional picture of the cast of "Auf Wiedersehen Pet" on the front cover, with actor Jimmy Nail wearing an AC/DC T-shirt.
The third series of Auf Wiedersehen Pet starts on BBC 1 at 9pm on Sunday 28th April 2002 in the UK.


Dio's forthcoming album "Killing the Dragon" which features Simon Wright and is scheduled for release on the 21st May, can be pre-ordered at Amazon.com

Brian does Ballet Shocker !

Brian Johnson has apparently written music and lyrics for a forthcoming Ballet.

Brian is collaborating with Sarasota Ballet Artistic Director Robert de Warren on "Helen of Troy," a lavish blend of mythology, dance and musical-theater spectacle.

The $1.2 million production, announced last week, will open at Sarasota's Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in March 20, 2003.

AC/DC listed as number 2 in the Business Review Weekly magazine's Top 50 Australian entertainers chart.

At No.2 were veteran rockers AC/DC, who earned 30 million Australian dollars (dlrs 16 million).
Other notable inclusions in the list is Steve Irwin "Crocodile Hunter" at No. 5 , Russell Crowe at No. 3 and Kylie Minogue at No. 9

A song that was co-written by Brian Johnson is to feature on the forth-coming Jackyl album.

Jackyl are currently completing work on their new album which is to feature the track "Kill the Sunshine" which was co-written by Brian. Other tracks to feature on the album are ‘Give The Devil His Due’, ‘Vegas Smile’, ‘If You Want It Heavy (I Weigh A Ton)’ and ‘Sparks From Candy’. The band are now seeking a suitable record deal.


AC/DC are going pay per view in America.

The AC/DC web site No Nonsense has just been updated and is worth a a quick look at.


New television broadcasting laws which are being introduced in Australia could see the advert for Holden cars which features the AC/DC song "Thunderstruck" being played in the background could be banned. The new laws are trying to clampdown on adverts featuring stunt driving.

According to Electric Basement , Dio have announced the track listing to their forth-coming album "Killing the Dragon". Dio of course at the moment currently have the services of former AC/DC drummer Simon Wright.
The track listing is "Killing the Dragon", "Along Came a Spider", "Scream", "Better in the Dark", "Rock and Roll", "Push", "Guilty", "Throwaway Children", "Before the Fall" and "Cold Feet."
