Epic are releasing the DVD "Live at Donington" on the 11th November 2003. The DVD contains the live footage of AC/DC's headlining appearance at the 1991 Monsters of Rock festival 17th August 1991.

Also due for release by Epic
7th October 2003 - A vinyl boxed set collecting all 15 albums in the Epic Re-issue series. The albums will also be available individually on remastered 180 gram vinyl.

9th September 2003 - An Epic Re-mastered version of the The 1997 AC/DC boxed set "Bonfire" will be hitting the shops. More details of the Bonfire Release

Tenacious D's Jack Black stars in a film titled "School of Rock" which is coming out in October in America. In the film, Black stars as a substitute teacher who imparts rock'n'roll wisdom to his pre-teen students.
One scene in the film features the students performing a rendition of AC/DC's "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock'n'Roll)"



John Chisholm's web site dedicated to Newcastle (Australia) bands has recently added an archive picture of the Motels featuring former AC/DC bass player Larry Van Kriedt from his days with the Motels.

Brian Johnson's musical "Helen of Troy" was recently giving a workshop performance in London for potential backers.
Included in the audience was Cameron Mackintosh, the producer of "Les Miserables," "Phantom of the Opera" and "Miss Saigon."

Thunderstruck the Movie update.
James Morley the former Bass player of the Australian group "The Angels" has played the role of Angus in the forth-coming Australian film. The role of Malcolm Young is being played by Gary Dunn.
At present James and Gary are currently treading the boards of the Perth (Western Australia) music scene with their band Dr Whoopa

James Morley will also be known to AC/DC fans as he appeared on the AC/DC tribute album Thunderbolt a few years back.



The Sony remastered release of the Bonfire box set which is scheduled for release on the 9th September in the USA and the 8th September is now availble to pre-order online at.

Dave Evans Germany Tour update
Former AC/DC singer Dave Evans had to calm a rowdy crowd of bikers one of his recent concerts in Germany.

"When Dave Evans got on the fans went nuts"
"Into the third song the police where so worried with how the concert goers where reacting to the awesome power of this performer they pulled the plug".
It was then left up to Dave to calm the rowdy crowd.

Living Colour's new album "Collideoscope" due out in September will feature a cover version of the AC/DC track "Back in Black"

According to the Electric Shock web site the 1997 Bonfire box set is to be remastered and released by Sony in September.

Due out in UK on 8th September, Bonfire ( cat. num. 5107742 on Sony )which I presume is remastered also on 13th October is a DVD Box set ( on Warner Home Video ) though I don't know what it contains.

AC/DC Salute Toronto
AC/DC - Toronto 31st July 2003 AC/DC were quoted in an interview at www.cjad.com as being impressed and full of appreciation for the 450,00 crowd at Downsview Park Toronto.

Many online reviews also hinted that the band stole the show for example the review at www.canoe.ca

In the mean time the television and media companies have been recieving a lot of flak for their poor coverage of the concert , with the message board of Much More Music being bombard by irate Canadian fans.
