Wednesday 27th February 2002
A bootleg recording titled "Shockingly Rare" has appeared on some certain online auction sites. Containing a collection of rare AC/DC outtakes the recording also lists two tracks which stand out.Listed is a track "Twist" which is described as an outtake and also a track titled "Desert Sands (including Angus & Mal with band Life is hard).
If anyone knows more details relating to these two tracks , I would be interested to hear from you via the e-mail webmaster@crabsodyinblue.com
It was reported in some of the online press that American Danny Kass who won a silver medal in the snowbarding listened to AC/DC Whilst taking part in the competion. Monday 11th February 2002 AC/DC at the Olympics ! It is sometimes amazing were you might hear AC/DC music. During the Womens Snowboarding competition the AC/DC tracks "Girls got rhythm" and "You shook me all night long" were played as background music.
May I suggest anyone planning on going contact either Newcastle city hall or the community fund first.
