Festival Mushroom Records in Australia have announced that AC/DC's 2 disc DVD set titled "Family Jewels" will be released in Australia early April through Alberts/FMR.



John Farnham and Tom Jones performed a cover version of AC/DC's "It's a long way to the top (If you wanna Rock n Roll)" during the encore of their concert at the Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne on the 18th February.

Bon Scott Postcard Reluctly Pat has decided to sell the items to help pay for medical care after suffering a very bad car accident.

Riff Raff Australian AC/DC tribute band "Riff Raff" kick-started events in memory of Bon Scott by performing live on a back of a truck in the streets of Fremantle on Saturday 5th February. Further events are planned for the 19th February (see below).

Western Australian fan's tribute to Bon Scott.

Doug Thorncroft an AC/DC fan from Western Australia has been busy arranging events as a tribute to Bon Scott.

Ronald Belford Scott 1946 - 1980 5th February 2005:
There will be a "It's a long way to the top" Re-enactment through the streets of Fremantle township, At 12 noon a truck will leave Fremantle train station with the Western Australia AC/DC cover band "Riff Raff" Playing on the back, The procession will travel up Market St / South Tce to the Fremantle Hospital then turn around and travel back. We will do this a few times then stop at Pioneer Reserve (Opposite the Train Station) to do a Free Tribute concert until 1:30 pm.

19th February 2005:
At the Fremantle Cemetry there will be a memorial service held at Bon's plaque in the memorial Gardens near the corner of Carrington St and Leach Highway, At 12 Noon there will a a pipes n Drums band that will march down from the main car park through the graves to Bon's plaque, Once there they will play a medley of Scottish tunes relating to Bon's time in the Fremantle Pipe band. Celebrity guests and media have been inited.

That Night (19th February 2005):
At the Leopold Hotel on Canning Highway Bicton there will be a tribute concert performed by "Riff Raff"
Doors open at 7 pm $20 on the night or $15 before. (available through the drive thru Bottle shop.)
