Wednesday 28th February 2001
British Recording Industry awards cermony (The Brits 2001) did not feature AC/DC they never have and are never likely too , however camp comedian Graham Norton paid an indirect salute to the band in the form of his T-shirt.
Norton who presented an award to Robbie Williams
wore a Black T-shirt with the letters DC/DC done in the style of the Classic Back in Black gothic AC/DC logo. Although thinly disguised
as a tribute to the band it is more likely a reference to Mr Norton's sexual preferences. (View picture)
Graham Norton is not the first celebrity to wear a T-shirt sporting AC/DC styled letters Jenny Frost of
Atomic Kitten has recently been seen wearing
an AC/DC T-shirt (see picture right).

Chris Slade is featured on the track, "Wherever You Are", which I believe will be

AC/DC have now officially sold in excess of 60 million albums in America alone. The Aussie legends, who yesterday announced a show at Milton Keynes Bowl on June 8, have sold a staggering 63 million copies, making them the fifth biggest band of all time, behind the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and the Eagles. Not bad for a band with a schoolboy in the line-up. Source: Total Rock News / Hells Bells

Dave says: "I did not say that. What I actually said was that many people have spoken to me about suing AC/DC over the years and I said that I have NEVER sought legal advice about it, purely as a matter of pride. Even when it was pointed out to me that I should look into it. The story is typical Australian sensationalist journalism and I am quite upset about it. Simon Croft from Thunderstruck was present during the interview and can back me up on this.

"He claims to represent the band and is searching for the right act to support AC/DC on their farewell tour," Horsburgh said. "But this person is not known to the band, management company or their record companies, and neither AC/DC nor their management conduct business in this fashion." AC/DC's upcoming tour is not a farewell tour, Horsburgh said. If anyone has information on Jack Albert, he asks that they contact data@accadacca.net.

I have moved back to Melbourne to live and for
it to be my base. I was back at Edward's Tavern for
New Year's Eve and look forward to gigging throughout
the Year - hopefully overseas as there has been some
interest expressed regarding getting me to Europe and
maybe the USA. If any serious promoters are interested
they can email me as I know the ACDC fans would jump
at the chance to see me live as I am the only missing
link for the OS fans to experience live, cheers, Dave.

Confirmed in December, Lesser Known's cover of AC/DC's "Dirty Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap)" will be licensed by Disney Television. Here is a thumbnail of the show: Episode 103, "What's Lizzie Thinking?" 1/2 hr children's show to air on Disney Channel. The show is like "The Wonder Years" but with a 13 year old girl. The song will be used for a 2 minute montage of characters, Kate and Miranda, playing dirty tricks on each other. An executive producer at Disney said that the original version sounded too "dated" and found the Lesser Known version on the Internet. From the Lesser Known newsletter
