Available on CD and Cassette in the UK (No vinyl release)

The album is not coming out in the UK on Vinyl. Only in the USA. EMI wanted to put the album out on vinyl but the marketing and sales people wanted to make it with a point of difference, colour vinyl or with a bonus track.
They applied to the management for this but got no reply. None of the bands labels are allowed without prior permission to change anything on the sleeve and songs, so there you have it; no UK vinyl release.

We'll all have to get it on import as it's first UK release not to come out on vinyl, ironically.

Brian Johnson and his wife Brenda were reported to be attending a Charity Benefit in Sarasota FL USA, A friend of Brian's reported that Brian wanted to pass the bands THANKS for the undying support. He said he's always amazed by how some fans know things about the band that they didn't even know. In his words, "they know some scary things i wish I could forget"!

When on behalf of myself and all the fans around the World thanks for the music over the years , it's been a long five years waiting for the new album , but from the few song previews I have heard myself , Stiff Upper Lip will be a dynamite album. In Adelaide, Australia a local newspaper has just ran a a two page feature on Bon and the 20th anniversary. The paper also reported that Fremantle Cemetary are putting on extra guards to protect his memorial and the area where his ashes were scattered.

Their new album, Stiff Upper Lip, hits stores February 29th and the title track is currently blowing up at radio. And it gets even better
One of rock s most untamable idols has been corralled and will be given away to the highest bidder on www.ebay.com. MTV and Elektra Records have teamed up to offer a personal guitar lesson with legendary AC/DC guitarist Angus Young. The 9-day Angus auction kicks off on Feb. 21 with a chat on MTV featuring Angus and Brian Johnson at 8pm E.S.T. They will also be on MTV s TRL Feb. 21 at 3:30 pm E.S.T. The entire AC/DC Auction will launch on Ebay Feb. 11, and end on Feb. 29.

The highest bidder will be revealed on MTV s Total Request Live from the Virgin Megastore in Times Square, with the members of the band making their first in-store appearance of their career. In addition to the personal guitar lesson with Angus, the following items are also up for bid starting Feb. 11 through Feb. 21.

-An invite to ask the first question of Brian and Angus during the SFX Album Premier party, Feb. 24 at 10pm E.S.T., where selections from Stiff Upper Lip will be heard first, and the band will be answering questions from the audience. This event will be broadcasted on 170 stations as well as webcasted on www.sfx.com

-A front row seat to see AC/DC in a rare TV performance during MTV s @ Large Week on March 10. (Winner must make own travel arrangements.)

UK Magazine Classic Rock issue 11 Feb 2000 features a Bon Scott feature 6 pages plus a poster of Angus Young.

Local Dundee (Scotland) paper Courier and Advertiser features an article on page 1 about Kirriemuir that mentions its famous sons of J.M. Barrie , David Niven and Bon Scott.

The new album is ready for a 18 - 22 Febuary release but it seems that the record company East West needs more time to organize the promotional tour (press conferences worldwide,...). so the release date has been postponed one more time... The new release dates are :
