Monday 28th January 2002 Billy Joel covers Highway to Hell on stage During his Boston concert with Elton John Billy Joel strapped on a guitar and called on one of his roadies before launching into a rendition of the AC/DC track "Highway to Hell". Brian Johnson was reported (although he later pulled out) to be appearing at the Sammy Johnson memorial fund gigs on the 3rd February in Newcastle.Sammy (real name Ronnie) Johnson was a talented actor from the North-East of England area and is fondly remembered for his performances as "Stick" in the UK television programme "Spender". In his memory a memorial fund was set up to help promote talent in the Newcastle area.
