Chris Turner promo video offer !
Serious collectors of Australian music and completists when it comes to collecting material even remotely connected with AC/DC may be interested in the possible availability of a Chris Turner promo video which features "Mark Evans".

John White (the webmaster of the Dave Tice website) is in the process of trying to persuade the record company to run off a small batch of copies of the videoclip of the track "Get off my Back". The track in question appeared on Chris Turner's Exile album and features former AC/DC bass player Mark Evans.

If John can get enough interested fans/collectors to express an interest to purchase the promo video then he reckons the record company would reproduce the promo video and make it available to fans.

If anyone is seriously interested or if they would wish to recieve further details contact John at jdw@isd.canberra.edu.au

UK AC/DC tribute band "Riff Raff" are playing the Doghouse bar in Dundee on the 24th March 2002.

Here is a little interesting article from an Australian newspaper from a few weeks back.

ABBA no match for Acca-Dacca

Organisers of the ABBA Karaoke competition almost met their Waterloo at Balmain's Cat and Feddle Hotel on Saturday night thanks to a local heckler "Acca Dacca Dave".

At first Dave mistook the costumed backing band for the Travelling Wilburies and spent the first two sets ripping into them with a few pointed and quite tasteless jibes.

He was eventually enticed on stage for a rendition of ABBA's "Rock me" which degenerated into a version of the only song he knows - AC/DC's "You shook me all night long".

Naturally, Dave brought the house down and, just after he fell off the stage the judges decalred him the winner with a near perfect score.

Dave was later loaded into an ambulance but by lunchtime Sunday he was back, declaring himself ready for the second heat this Saturday.
