Monday 29th October 2001 According to the Electric Shock web site Brian Johnson recorded two songs with Geordie II before returning home to America. These tracks are to be used in released in a project to highlight the traditional roots and culture of Newcastle and the surrounding areas. For further details visit Electric Shock
Metal Mayhem have released a remastered CD of Adam Bomb's "Fatal Attraction" album. This album features a guest appearance by AC/DC's Cliff Williams on the track
"I want my heavy metal". The album was originally released way back in 1985 on vinyl.
BadMan Recording company (www.badmanrecordingco.com) are releasing a 12 inch double vinyl
album of 18 songs by Mark Kozelek (14 of which are cover versions of AC/DC songs). The album combines Mark Kozelek's two solo albums plus live renditions of the AC/DC songs
"Rock 'N' Roll Singer" and "Up To My Neck in You." Friday 26th October 2001 UK fans may be interested to know that the television channel ITV will be broadcasting the film "Last Action Hero" at 10pm on Saturday 27th August. The film of course features the AC/DC track "Big Gun" in the soundtrack.
More details of the forth-comming DVD release have appeared on the NME web site (www.nme.com).'Stiff Upper Lip Live', documents the legendary rockers' show at their Munich date on last year's 'Stiff Upper Lip' world tour. The DVD release will also feature a 10-minute documentary on the band, in addition to the full concert. The site quotes a release date of November 19th for the UK , other sources have hinted at a release date of December 4th for the USA. Exact details are uncertain at the moment and subject to change.

Kirriemuir residents will have the chance to view an exhibition with a difference at the Gateway to the Glens museum next week. On Monday (15th October) photographs of former AC/DC front man Bon Scott's time in the Wee Red Town will go on display for the first time. Brian Johnson celebrated his 54th Birthday on the 5th October, in style with a cracking performance with his old band Geordie II at the Cellar Club, South Shields, England. Brian was in fantastic form delighting the
crowd. After Geordie's second song the crowd burst into a rendition of Happy Birthday. Later on in the night Terry Slesser, club owner and former singer with the Kossoff band and Back Street Crawler presented
Brian with a birthday cake on stage.

Brian Johnson was contacted by the White House to help arrange a Live Aid-style concert for victims of the terrorist attacks in America. I am afraid that I can not confirm this report, but according to the report a concert in Washington in November is maybe being lined up. Geordie II tour rolled into the Elmfield Social Club , Hebburn last night with Brian and the lads from Geordie II (guitarist Dek Rootham, bassist Dave Robson and drummer Dave Whitaker) delighting

Other tour dates: The concert was even graced by the Newcastle mafia , as Brian called them , namely actors Kevin Wheatley, Tim Healey , and Mr Jimmy Nail.
