Atlantic is one of the most celebrated labels in Rock n Roll history. Formed by Ahmet Ertegun the
son of a Turkish diplomat in New York 1947. In the seventies the label would have sucess with Rock legends in the form
of Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones.
Atlantic UK's Managing Director Phil Carson signed the band in 1975 after meeting the band through Carol Browning (Daughter of the AC/DC manager at the time
Michael Browning). It would later be the direction of Phil Carson , Michael Browning and Carol Browning that would steer AC/DC to sucess as a major Rock headline act.
