Bon Scott's Belt
 
Perhaps one of the most common picturs of Bon Scott that appears on the internet , is the one with Bon bare chested sporting a brightly coloured
belt buckle. Closer inspection of the belt shows the flag of the Southern army in the American Civil war with the name of the group Lynyrd Skynyrd in white.
Lynyrd Skynyrd are famous for their blend of Southern boogie rock which provided classic tracks in the shape of Freebird , Sweet home Alabamha ,Tuesday's gone and Call me the breeze. One ironic twist in the tale is
however both AC/DC and Lynyrd Skynyrd suffered the loss of their lead singers. It was the infamous plane crash involving members of Lynyrd Skynyrd that took among others the live of legendary front man Ronnie Van Zandt.
