ROCK ON BON,
Fast Eddie from Idaho

In 1973 i was a little punk growing up in the hills of kentucky, having my first experience with booze, weed and girls. i was on a spiral to hell, or death, or prison. my uncle moved me from america to australia, one night i sneaked out of his house and into a small town, in a pub i heard a band, this band later i found out was ac/dc i could not get into the pub because of my age, but, every night i would listen to them. i later moved to america again, honestly, i believe i brought the first ac/dc album to america. the long and short of it is i grew as ac/dc grew. the awful day bon scott left us, is the day i awoke.see.......bon scott the day he passed, was my eye opener, i would not be here if not for that day. my last words are.......
Ride On Bon..You Are Truly Missed!!!

You were a truly original rocker, and your presence in felt in my heart day after day. All I do is put on an AC/DC CD and it just absolutely makes my day, plus you were a terrific person on top of that. Who knows where AC/DC would have gone without you and your AWESOME voice and songwriting ability.
Jennifer K.

I Never saw AC/DC with Bon. I Hope I do not feel bad about that - Even though I have seen them with Brian Johnson many times since 1982. I still listen to Highway to Hell and imagine what you could have been like up on stage.

Yo Bon!.....just bought your Rock Masters DVD...taken from a show you n the boys recorded for BBC IN 1977...remember watching it as a 16yr old.....I had just been to see ACDC at the Empire theatre in Liverpool a few days before...I was lucky enough to catch the guys 3 times(they were the days when hard working bands like ACDC toured every 6 months)...so many memories flooded back....I was so gutted when you passed away so suddenly......yes, the band continued to be very successful without you, but for me it was never the same.you were a "one and only".......I hope you are still rocking 'where ever you may be....
Kindest regards to you and your family

Bon, you were the ultimate frontman and the original rock and roll BAD BOY. There will never be another like you,
Rest in peace.
Steve Cavender

I was nine years old when I first heard Bon scott sing "Dirty Deeds". It changed my life. He is by far the most talented, hard hitting singer I have ever heard, and someone has yet to match his status. I just only wish that he could have lived to see AC/DC get inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. They are the most hard working band I have ever seen, and Bon always pushed them even harder. Today is the 23rd aniversery of his death, and it saddens this AC/DC fan greatly to not have gotten the chance to see him live in concert. But every time some teenage rebel plays "Highway to Hell" a little too loud just to piss off the neighbors, or another kid with rock and roll dreams picks up his microphone, the memory of Bon will be there. Rock in peace buddy!
Redsg1961@aol.com

Exploded2mars , NYC

Bon I'd just like to say you are without a doubt the single most bad ass rocker I have ever seen. I have all your albums which I must say would still make number 1 on the music charts even if they were released today. My father being of Irish decent and my mother being of Scottish decent I am strongly connected to my Scottish roots. Last summer I visited Scotland, and I visited where you were born and to tell you the truth I got a little teary eyed. Well when I returned home I wanted to do what you did. I got a handful of my friends together to start a band. They weren't really into it at first, I had to convince them to love AC/DC and what you guys contributed to rock and roll. I wish you were here to give me pointers on fronting a band, but you got better things to do with Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and John Lennon. Hey maybe if I ever get to be famous and then retire and then die I can meet you in Rock and Roll Heaven. Well ride on Bon, and R.I.P (Rock In Peace)

Bon, your music brings pleasure and happiness every day and nobody can match the vitality of your songs. You make me laugh at your "tongue in cheek" lyrics and sad because you are not here anymore. You were the balls Bon.
I've probally played some of your songs a 1000 times. My favorite clip well, one of them is off the "if you want blood you got it album" when you scream " it was 92 decable rockin' band" your feet must have left the stage for a moment.
I waited 20 years to hear a different verson of "she's got balls" I was jumping up and down when I put the Bon Fire cd in. It sounds like your gonna junp out of the speaker. Your voice really was unbelivable.Hope there's some sunsets to ride out of up there

Bon, I love your music. You truely made AC/DC what it is today. It's sad to think about what you could've done if you were still here, and where AC/DC could be. There's alot of people who miss you. But I'd have to say I'm one of those who miss you alot. I'm only 16 but, it's hard to hear your music and not think of you not being here. Ride On Bon.
TJ from Tennessee

20 years. I can't believe it. You are still with me every day, making me smile, making me sing. Thanks.
Alastair Valentine from Montrose , Angus , Scotland.

Bon you were the first person to make me care about real music you never followed trends and you never lost touch with your fans. In retrospect you were the most sincere and honest lycrist to ever pen a song and you always managed to lay out the bittersweet truth with a sly wit that always broke the tension and helped to ease the pain you are gone only in body but your spirit and the soul of your music is etched into ourhearts and souls and will never leave us and will always be there for the good times and the bad. so i leave this candle in the window as a tribute to a fallen comrade and beloved outlaw. God bless.

Wish you were still here Bon,it would be great to have such a strong Scot on top of the music industry. I always thought you were great, and still do, and I love ya,and like i said,it's a pity youre not here, but just keep riding on.
