| The Frozen Camels Project (mini Europe tour 2002)
Zagreb, Croatia (Club Pauk) -29th November 2002 - Reviews
Concert was held in ROCK CLUB PAUK ( Pauk = Spider ), which can take arround 1500 people when full and its positioned in student campus here in Zagreb.
We arrived at about 23:15 and place was empty, there was few people in front of stage when support act started.
Support was heavy metal band from Croatia called Hard Time. They played for about 20 min, and then left.
At that moment, there was around 400 people in club. Then arround 23:50 FROZEN CAMELS started to play,
Danny Shepard, Darrel Nutt and Cliff Williams without Emir in first part of the concert.
First tune was some kind of instrumental, and another was tunes from Danny with covers of AC/DC "Dirty Deeds done dirt Cheap"
and ZZ Top's "La Grange".
Then Emir came and they played few of his tunes and then again they played Shepard songs.
Cliff had some amp problem which caused one minute break, and on one tune he played guitar and Emir played his bass.
The Gig lasted for roughly 70 minutes
and a large majority of the crowd had AC/DC t-shirts and came because of Cliff.
In summary the concert was good , the band played great bluesy rock
stuff.
Concert Review by Toni Stilinovic from Croatia
I would like you to know that this concert was one of the best I've ever seen in my life. Great performances by the Cliff Williams, as well as Danny Shepard, Darrell Nutt and Emir Bukovica. Show was so good that people didn't see when hour and 15 minutes was gone. Everybody there was happy and thrilled to see those guys playing great rock and blues. First about size of club "Pauk" and number of people on this show . For last 10 years I saw so many different concerts at club "Pauk" and I know for sure that club "Pauk" , when is full, can take between 1000 and 1500 people. On this "Frozen Camels Project" concert I think it was over 500 people, which is great number knowing that ticket price was unusually high. The band played only three songs from the Emir's album: "Ne pitaj me", "21.Vijek" and "Sarajevo, New York, Roma".
