Reviews AC/DC , SECC,
Glasgow Sat 2nd December
from the
newsgroup.
ABSO-FUCKIN-LUTELY
FUCKIN TREMENDOUS
kudos to Sandy and Dave from county Durham for meeting
with the capper
party and hanging with us to everybody else WHERE WERE
YOU! we looked and looked for the Bod at the
Solid rock ( I knew we shoulda picked someplace quieter)
then at
the SECC we hung about bar opposite the Box Office and
Hall 5
waiting for people to show face only those mentioned
above made it
Set list the same as Everywhere with Bonnie before TNT
Brian really sounded top notch and angus had more energy
than ever
Brian announced they had been waiting for the Scottish
date and the crowd
got into all the songs
WE even
got Cleavage!!!!! during the Jack no arse but be did get
St.
Andrews Cross Boxers ( Scottish Flag)
sound
quality: Excellent the choir of bleedin' angels couldn't
have been
more harmonious than DC, Brian was shocked how loud we
were again but he
should be used to it by now all the usual bells cannons
glitter and Flames that worked
love the cartoon during hard as a rock breaking down a
door with one's dick
looked painful!
the
prices are a rip- off London goers
£18-£25 for t-shirts I went for the white sul, the tie
die and a bootleg
one outside for £5 the programme was a ripp £10 and
barely no text.
As to
the show sheer fuckin' class as always
I'm Pumped totally for the Last gig of the 2nd US leg!

I can't
add much more.........it was perhaps the best 'DC show I've
seen.
The crowd were unbelievable.....even Mal couldn't stop
himself smiling
during The Jack; the Scots are loud fuckers and no
mistake! Anyone notice
Ang slip and fall at the end of The Jack? Roadies were
soon on the scene
mopping up the sweat which caused him to slip.
I was
standing right at the end of the walkway, and when Beano
was swinging
on the Bell, he accidentally hit someone in the crowd.
Credit to the great
man; as soon as he got off the rope, he shook the bloke's
hand, apologising
most profusely.....wadda guy!
George
Young watched the proceedings from the mixing desk.....Beano
gave him an "Alright, George?!" during The Jack;
we even caught a couple of shots of him on the video
screens.
I can't
get over the amount of energy that Beano and Angus put
into the
gigs....BJ's voice was in tremendous form, the best I can
ever remeber it. I
think he is the best frontman in rock; eyes bulging,
giving it
everything....he covered every inch of the stage, working
the crowd all the
time. His enthusiasm is so apparent, and I think this
just encourages the
crowd even more. And wee Ang? What can you say? I truly
don't know how he does it every night....the amount of
fluid (sweat / spit) he loses is
frightening.
I saw 'DC
in Ghent 6 weeks ago and they were magic, but Glasgow was
that
extra bit special. It's the yardstick to which all other
gigs should be
measured against.
FOLKS,
THIS IS THE FUCKEN GREATEST BAND OF ALL TIME....PITY THE
POOR FOOLS
WHO CANNOT FEEL THE 'DC MAGIC!!!
The vibe
was
abso-fucken-lutely killer!! You woulda loved it man!!
Ferg (still
in shock).
"Ferg" <gusj@gumbyrock.freeserve.co.uk>
THAT SHOW WAS THE BEST
EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Backup band were pish!!!!!!!!!
Brian used his wee joke "we've past the audition lads"
I had a great fucking seat at the corner and I was right in front of a big screen and
the boys were in view as well they werent that far away either.
The bell was awesome especially when he flew out across the crowd and the rosie blow
up doll that was so much better than the old one. Angus rocked
but I noticed he was fucked when he did the pull-off bit in LTBR and
they went off for 10 minutes and came back on with Bonny. I was a bit saddened
that angus didnt come up through the stage for HTH.
But the Jacks was amazing great crowd. I wasnt going to get crazy or anyhting
but they came on and I couldnt stop my feet moving and shouting the lyrics.
ALso the Great ANGUS CHA CHA!!!!
