More than a time warp, the AC/DC concert Sunday night at the Fieldhouse was like entering an alternate universe, where the ’80s never ended and Back in Black is permanently No. 1 on the charts.
Taken from an article By Steve Hammer and Jeff Napier in the Nuvo.net Snakepit ...sankepit came on, and all to respects to the rat, but the fucking blew, slash was in full "Its my job and thats why im here" mode, the rest of the band at least were fairly animated, but ith slash, hed stay in one spot for what seemed like for ever, and the stop played, run over to the other side jumping off someting in the center of the stage, and go to the other side and play for awhile, and did that same thing over and over, he just..seemed like he could give a damn about the whole thing, and honestly i didnt find him all that impressive, to say the least. They did Mr. Brownstone, which i dug, and they did a fairly good job of it to, i was rocking concidering it is like..the only g n r tune ive ever liked..so in that respect it was pretty cool... DC my first dc concert ever...the show was excellent, from start to finish..i thought they might have cut YSMANL off a bit early...but im not sure, like i said..i was just..blown away heh..the statue seemed to be working pretty good, tho it didnt grow horns as much as i think you guys have said it did, i can only rememeber seeing it durning one song..and i cant remember which one that was...im thinking hell aint a bad place to be, but im not sure....i got to shake brians hand when he came down the walk way, that was way cool..The Jack seemed to work beter than described...it still ws a bit of a lull, but the crowd was up for it pretty much..one thing which i did not understand for the life of me tho was that they kept showing this older womans breast..it was kinda sick at points heheh..they were showing this pretty good looking woman like...a lot...but she wasnt doing anything...brian was out on the walkway at one point, and i was watching him, and he had a hell of a reaction to something, and i looked at the monitor and this chick was on there..but i couldnt tell what happened. ..Safe In NYC kicked ASS...i love that song anyway, and ithey tore it up live, and like msg, i belive it was played faster than stuido...Sat Blues, which is my fav. cut off the album kicked some ass as well...as did everysong..i didnt have ear plugs in or anything..so i couldnt make out bri's voice totally clearly, it was sorta ringing around in my head hehe...but it seemed to me that he did not miss one lick..he kicked ass, as did the whole band...the confetti at the end of the show kicked ass...no one had said anyhting about that(or i wasnt paying attention, more than likely i wasnt paying attention hehe) so that surprised me, and was cool..all and all the time of my life...and ill never forget it..cant wait for the 2nd leg! oh and My bro looked so fucking awesome..ill try and get a pic up for those who wanna see it..everyone went crazy over him the whole day, and he really ate it up...also..i didnt meet up with any of the bod..to my knowledge at least..a lot of ppl approached us becasue of him, but none said anything about the ng...anyway..im late for work, i got 3 hours sleep last night, i cant talk and a i cant hear because my ears are ringing so loud..so i better go..
