Isa Scott - Bon Scott's Mother

Isa Scott

Isobel (Isa) Scott (nee Cunningham)

The gracious elderly lady pictured above is Bon Scott's mother Isa Scott.

Isa was recently interviewed for the VH-1 documentary Behind the Music where she reflected on her Ronnie and the time that Malcolm phoned her to tell her of Bon's death.

Isa the grand old lady loved to hear "Her Ronnie" (Bon's real name was Roland Belford Scott hence Ronnie) up on stage singing. When AC/DC returned to Australia for their first gig in Australia in 1988, since Bon died they invited Isa to the gig , the nervous engineers and people from the record company tried to warn hear about the noise. To which she is reported to have replied "That's all right I know when the Cannons appear"
