AC/DC played the Target Center in Minneapolis Minnesota USA on the 2nd September 2000 Review Holy F**king WOW!!!(Minneapolis) I'm still buzzin' from the show and it's almost 24 hours later. This was my first AC/DC concert and I just can't fucking believe I was there in the same building as them. Brian sounded great (way better than on No Bull), Angus was awesome (although the strip show could have been better. He didn't take down his boxers.) and Mal, Cliff, and Phil were more steady and rhythmic than a metronome. The guy who was sitting next to us was wearing a Kiss shirt. Why the fuck would you want to wear a Kiss shirt at all, let alone to an AC/DC concert? I wasn't very impressed with Slash. It just hurt my ears and I couldn't make out any melody or the singers voice. He played for about 40 minutes and then AC/DC came on about 20 minutes later. Then the crowd woke up. I loved it. Those two hours went by way too fucking fast. I took some pictures with a disposeable camera and I'll post them if they turn out. The setlist was the same I think. I didn't write them down, it was the same songs, just not sure of the order. Sorry if most of this doesn't make any sense. I'm running on less than 2 hours of sleep. We drove home to Wisconsin Rapids after the show and didn't get home until 6:30am. It should have been 4:00 but we had to pull into a gas station for a couple of hours to wait out a very heavy downpour. Then we got up a 8:30am and went 4-wheeling all day. So I'm not thinking very straight. Good night.
Review by Kelly
All I can say is that last night was the greatest night of my life. The
show
was incredible, and even now, it sounds as if everyone has been breathing
helium. I can't hear a fucking thing!!!! It is so cool! Those canons during
FTATR were the loudest thing I have ever heard!
The ramp coming down from the stage was right next to me, and Angus and
Brian
came down several times...
After the show I was so fucking lucky.. I got to be part of the meet and
greet.
Everyone in the band was talking to me like we had been friends for 20
years!
Everyone one of them were the most friendly people I had ever met. Malcolm
even
showed me how to do some guitar riffs that I couldnt quite figure out!!!
They all stayed with us for about an hour, and talked and joked around
with
everyone, and didn't turn down one autograph. Angus even drew his Angus
Devil
for me on the back of the Flick of the Switch album!!!! He is so cool.
Brian
kept calling me his son! He said "Here ya go, me son!" They all took
pictures,
one with me and Brian comparing our biceps. Last night was the coolest
thing I
ever experienced. Now I can die happy.
