Brian Johnson grew up in the Geordie town of North Shields. Like all Geordies he was brought up in a
working man's environment were the order of the day was Brown Ale and watching the Magpies down at St James Park.
Throughout his career in AC/DC Brian from time to time could be seen with the famous black and white colours.
February 2000 - After flying over from his home in Florida to promote the new album Stiff Upper Lip , Brian Johnson took his seat
in his beloved St James Park to witness Newcastle defeating Manchester United 3 - 0.
Quote from the NME interview article. "It was F**kin magic! , When big Dunc Ferguson scored I bloody exploded oot me seat and so did Keegan!"
p.s. Duncan Ferguson at the time was Newcastle United's tall Scottish striker and Keegan is the former Newcastle player and was at the time the current manager of the English national side and happened to be sitting
next to Brian.
