Melbourne - The famous video of "It's a long way to the top" was shot in Swanston Street. The video footage started with the band in Bourke Street before they passed along Swanston Street and they ended up at Flinders Street.

It was Melbourne that Bon's parents first settled in Australia after emigrating from Scotland in 1952
The Scott family later relocated to the Adelaide. In 1956 Bon's brother Graeme was diagnosed with Asthma, due to this the Scott family decided to move the drier climate of Fremantle (a quiet port just south of Perth Australia).

Bon started school at the Sunshine Primary School in Melbourne.

Bon Scott, who later became the lead singer of AC/DC, even met his wife at the Largs Pier Hotel after a gig in 1971 Bon and Irene marry Adelaide January 24 1972 (Irene Thornton)
Port Adelaide - Bon worked at the Wallaroo fertiliser plant loading and unloading trucks.

Old Lion Hotel Noth Adelaide - It was on a Friday evening 1974 that the Mount Lofty Rangers were rehearsing. Bon turned up to work with the band. During the course of the night Bon Scott got drunk and fell out with the rest of the band. In a drunken angry state Bon got on his motorcycyle and stormed off into the distance. In the early hours of the Saturday morning Bon's wife at the time Irene got a phone call from then Queen Elizabeth Hospital intensive care ward informing her that Bon had suffered a broken arm , leg and nose and was in a state of Concussion after a crash at Croydon. Fremantle near Perth Western Australia was the home town of the Late Bon Scott and is also his last resting place.

On 1 July 2003, management of Fremantle Cemetery Board (www.fcb.wa.gov.au) was transferred to the Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB) (www.mcb.wa.gov.au) . The cemetery was previously vested in the Fremantle Cemetery Board.

Bon went to the North Fremantle Primary.
In 1959 aged 12 Bon started secondary school at the John Curtain High.
Bon's house in Fremantle was in Harvest road.

Spektors first gig the Medina Youth club (Perth/Fremantle area) in early 1965.

Potts Point New South Wales
The Head Office Records are based here. (PO Box 1343 Potts Point NSW 2011) It was this company which released the Bon Scott single Round and round and round.
