April 1st show at Raleigh.

First off let me kill all the crap about Brian being hurt and Angus being old and tired. Brian was wide open all night long and Angus ripped up that Gibson SG like it was a toy! Malcolm didn't miss a note all night with Cliff hammering in sync on the bass and Phil banging the skins the AC/DC we all know an love is still in full tilt. The show was incredible. yes the boys are getting older but hell they have been rocking us to death for 25 years, They have a right to get old. They have stood the test of time and there is a lot to be said for that.

The show opened with a Band called Cinematic??? Well they really were bad and thank goodness they only played about seven songs that include two remakes of Prince songs. Yes I said Prince!!. Then it was time for the boys and man did they come out smoking. The show was non stop from start to finish. Stiff upper lip was accompanied by a 50 foot bronze statue of Angus that had glowing eyes and breathed smoke. The statue even sported the same boxers that Angus was wearing. We know this because Angus teased the fans with his famous strip tease during Bad Boy Boogie. Hard as a rock was boosted by the large screen playing a wide number or Humping clips and Hells Bells treated us to Brian swinging from the roof on a large AC/DC Bell. Brian even brought his 50 foot blow up girlfriend out for whole lot of Rosie. Highway to hell really heated the place up with the flames shooting out from behind the amps and wouldn't you know it Angus put on a great show with his solo during Let there be Rock. Even Brian looked at him in amazement as he hammered out those chords for what seemed to be an eternity. and just when you thought the show was over we got an Encore of TNT and For those about to rock, and yes the cannons were charged and firing. The show ended with a great solo by Angus and tons of yellow and chrome confetti.
Well folks if you missed the show I feel bad for you and if the boys are headed your way get some tickets fast. Make no mistake about it AC/DC played like they plan on being around for a while. The music was good and the music was loud then Brian turned and he said to the crowd LET THERE BE ROCK and there was!!!
