1. Night Prowler from the Highway to Hell album.
This is the most haunting and scary guitar solo ever performed.
2. Whole Lotta Rosie from the albums Let there be Rock ,
If you want Blood , Live , Live at the atlantic studios -
Still perhaps one of the greatest Hard Rock tracks of all time and
no live performance would ever be complete without an rendition of the
track.
3. Bedlam in Belgium from the Flick of the Switch album,
even though the album did not receive as much critical acclaim as some of the others this is
one of the most over looked tracks but to me it is a gem.
4. For those about to Rock -
The ultimate live track to end a live show the Power of Brian Johnson's voice really
carries the song of as he orders the cannons to FIRE.
5. Carry me Home the 1977 outtake which features on bootleg compilations
and the B-side of the Australian single Dog eat Dog. This track perhaps sums up the
lifestyle of Bon Scott and the lyrics to the song can be easily related to by any fan
that has experienced a heavy night on the demon drink.
6. Down Payment Blues - Bon Scott has perhaps the most sleazy blues voice
ever to be recorded.
7. Hells Bells - The atmosphere for this song
is set at the beginning with the chiming of the Bells. The sight of Brian swinging
from underneath the bell and the chiming with a sledgehammer
in live performances is absolutely amazing.
8. Love Song from the Australian High Voltage album this track
is not the normal run of the mill sound of AC/DC but this track along with perhaps
Ride On highlights what a great voice Bon Scott had.
9. Highway to Hell from the album Highway to Hell
this track originated from Angus's description of the endless touring
from gig to gig. As well as featuring on the album that started getting,
AC/DC noticed this track has also stood the test of time and is still sounds
great performed live.
10. It's a long way to the Top (If you wanna rock n Roll)
- The track depicts the lifestyle of the band in the early days
travelling from club to club. The track also pays homage to Scotland the country
were Angus,Malcolm and Bon were born by the playing of bagpipes by Bon. Angus and Malcolm
were born in Glasgow and Bon Scott was born in Kirriemuir.
Being a fellow Scotsman I too am proud of my country and that's why
this track along with Fling Thing and Bonny have a specific importance to me.
Perhaps the best footage of this track is the promo video of this
track were the Band perform on top of a truck and are hauled through the
streets of the Melbourne Australia with pipers in tow.
